Privacy policy
In short: this website sets no cookies, has no analytics, no ads and no tracking. The GlideMix app doesn't collect usage data either. Below is exactly which data is processed, by whom and why (Art. 13 GDPR).
Who is responsible
Eugen-Cristian Hopota, GlideMix, Aachener Str. 102b, 41812 Erkelenz, Germany.

Visiting this website
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's name. Cloudflare needs this to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks, and keeps it only in short-lived server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data in the USA; it is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The site uses the fonts already on your device: nothing is loaded from Google or other font services.
Downloads (GitHub)
The installers are stored on GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA). On the Download page your browser asks GitHub which version is the newest, and clicking a download button downloads the file from GitHub. GitHub then receives your IP address and browser data. See GitHub's privacy statement.
Buying a licence (Polar)
Licences are sold by Polar Software Inc. (polar.sh) as reseller (Merchant of Record). When you click "Buy", you go to Polar's checkout; Polar processes your name, email address, billing address and payment data to complete the sale, issue the invoice and deliver your licence key. Payments are handled by Polar's payment provider (Stripe). We receive your name, email address and order details from Polar, so we can support you. Legal basis: the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). See Polar's privacy policy.
The GlideMix app
- Update check: GlideMix asks GitHub once a day whether there is a new version (you can switch this off in Preferences → General). GitHub sees your IP address.
- Licence activation: when you enter a key, GlideMix sends the key and a label made of your computer's name and operating system (e.g. "Studio-Mac (macOS 26)") to Polar, so you can see and remove your activated computers later. Now and then GlideMix checks with Polar that the key is still valid.
- Optional downloads: the stems engine is downloaded from the internet the first time you use stems.
- Your music stays on your computer. Analysis and stem separation run locally; nothing is uploaded.
- Live broadcasting only connects to the streaming server you set up yourself.
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to answer you, and delete them when they're no longer needed (unless the law requires us to keep them). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
