A Mac with Apple Silicon and macOS 13 or later, or a PC with Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). Your music as files (MP3, WAV, AIFF, FLAC, M4A…). Streaming services can't be used.
GlideMix isn't signed by Apple yet. Open it once, then go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway. You only do this once.
Click More info → Run anyway. The warning appears because the installer isn't code-signed yet.
Add your music folders in Preferences → Music library: GlideMix scans them, analyses the songs (tempo, beat grid, key, phrases, energy) and keeps watching them, so new songs appear by themselves. If you use rekordbox or Lexicon, their library shows up in the sidebar too, with their beat grids, keys, cue points and playlists. GlideMix only reads them; it never changes their databases.
None in features. The demo says "Glide Mix demo" every 2 minutes and exports MP3 at 96 kbps, up to 20 minutes. A licence removes all of that for good.
In the order email from Polar: open Access purchase and copy the key (it starts with GLIDEMIXPRO-).
Then in GlideMix: Help → Licence…, paste it, and click Activate.
Three, Mac and Windows mixed. Getting a new computer? Remove an old one from the customer portal (the Access purchase link), then activate on the new one.
Only once, to activate the key. After that GlideMix works offline.
GlideMix is in Beta. If you buy during the Beta you pay €49 and keep everything, including all 1.x updates. After the Beta the price is €89.
Please try the free demo first: it has every feature. If something is wrong with your purchase, write to support@glidemix.com and we'll sort it out.
GlideMix checks for new versions by itself and shows what's new. You can also use Help → Check for update. On the Mac the update installs with one click; on Windows the new installer runs and reopens GlideMix.
Every 1.x update is free with your licence.
Yes. GlideMix reads both libraries (read-only) and takes their beat grids, keys, cues and playlists. It can also export a rekordbox XML (right-click Music Collection) for rekordbox and Lexicon to import, with hot cues where each song's phrases start, ready for CDJs.
Yes: VST3 on Mac and Windows, Audio Unit on Mac. Put them on a song, a stem or the whole mix, and automate any knob.
Open the track's menu (⋯ next to the track name, or right-click the track header) → Separate stems. GlideMix splits it into drums, bass, vocals and other, on your own computer. The stems engine downloads once, the first time you use it.
Every song gets an energy rating from 1 (calm) to 10 (peak time), like Mixed In Key and Lexicon. Lexicon songs keep Lexicon's own rating. Press ENERGY in the toolbar to see the energy of the whole mix behind the tempo line.
Yes, to Shoutcast (v1 and v2) and Icecast servers, with song titles sent to your listeners. Set it up in Preferences → Live broadcasting.
